This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses Ola. It forms part of our Terms of Service, and terms defined there have the same meaning here.
Ola is built to do a great deal on your behalf. It can read the web, place calls, send messages, work inside accounts you connect, use permissions you grant on your device, and write and run software. The point of this policy is to set out the small number of things you must not do with that, so that the rest stays open.
We assume the best of the people using Ola. These rules exist because a service that acts in the real world can cause real harm, and because we would rather say plainly what is out of bounds than restrict the product for everyone.
If you break these rules, we may remove or restrict Content, limit your access to features, suspend your account, or close it. Where we believe there is a serious risk to someone's safety, or where the law requires it, we may notify the relevant authorities.

1. Comply with the law#
Do not use Ola, or anything it produces, to do or to help anyone do something unlawful. This includes, but is not limited to:
- taking action on behalf of another person or organisation without their authority;
- operating in a regulated field without meeting the rules that apply to it, for example giving investment, legal, medical or tax advice that requires a licence you do not hold;
- breaching export control or sanctions law, or using Ola in or for the benefit of an embargoed territory or a restricted person;
- infringing copyright, trade marks, trade secrets or other intellectual property rights;
- recording or transcribing a conversation without the consent that the law requires. In Germany, recording the spoken word of another person without their consent is a criminal offence under § 201 StGB. Many other jurisdictions require the consent of every participant. Getting that consent is your responsibility.
2. Do not harm people#
Do not use Ola to:
- threaten, intimidate, harass, stalk, dox or defame anyone;
- promote or assist suicide, self-harm or disordered eating;
- produce or distribute child sexual abuse material, sexualise anyone under 18, or groom a minor;
- produce non-consensual intimate imagery, or undress, nudify or sexualise a real person without their consent;
- develop, acquire or deploy weapons, including conventional weapons and chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive materials;
- plan, promote or carry out terrorism, violent extremism or other violence;
- destroy or damage property, or interfere with critical infrastructure;
- engage in animal cruelty.
We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities.
3. Respect other people's privacy#
Do not use Ola to:
- gather, monitor, profile or publish another person's private or sensitive information without their authorisation;
- build facial recognition databases without consent, or carry out remote biometric identification of people in public spaces;
- infer or classify people by their biometric data, social behaviour or personal traits, including social scoring;
- infer people's emotions in a workplace or an educational setting, except where that is necessary for medical or safety reasons;
- assess or predict the likelihood that a person will commit an offence based on their personal traits or on profiling;
- use a person's likeness or voice without their consent in a way that could confuse anyone about whether it is real.
Where you give Ola information about other people, you must be entitled to do so.
4. Do not deceive#
Do not use Ola to:
- impersonate a real person or organisation, or claim to speak for one without authority;
- present Output as human-written when it is not, where that would mislead someone who matters to the outcome;
- carry out fraud, scams, phishing, spam or academic dishonesty;
- forge or materially misrepresent documents, records, identities, credentials, signatures, endorsements or evidence;
- run political campaigning, lobbying or election interference operations;
- strip, alter or circumvent provenance metadata or watermarks that mark content as machine-generated.
5. Do not automate decisions about people#
Do not use Ola to make or automate high-stakes decisions about people without meaningful human review. This includes decisions about credit and financial services, employment, education, housing, insurance, legal matters, medical care, essential government services, migration, law enforcement, product safety and critical infrastructure.
6. Do not attack the Service#
Do not:
- jailbreak Ola, use adversarial prompting, or attempt prompt injection, and do not attempt to make Ola disregard its instructions, reveal the instructions or configuration beneath it, or act outside the authority you actually hold;
- distil the Service. Do not use Inputs, Outputs, or any part of the Service to train, fine-tune, evaluate or develop any machine learning model, or any product or service that competes with Ola, whether directly or indirectly;
- scrape, crawl, harvest or resell Inputs or Outputs;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code, model weights or underlying components of the Service, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
- circumvent rate limits, access restrictions, safety mitigations or other protective measures;
- introduce malware, spam or denial-of-service traffic, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or to anyone else's account;
- access the Service by unauthorised automated or non-human means;
- evade a suspension or a ban, including by opening another account;
- coordinate activity across accounts in order to avoid detection or to get around a restriction.
Security research. If you find a vulnerability, tell us at contact@tryola.ai. Do not test against other people's accounts or data, and do not use a vulnerability for anything other than demonstrating it to us.
7. Connected services#
When you connect a third-party account, you must comply with that service's own terms. Some services prohibit access by automated or unofficial clients. Connecting such a service may breach your agreement with that provider and may get your account there restricted or closed. That is your risk to weigh, and we may remove any connector at any time.
8. Changes to this policy#
We will update this policy as Ola develops and as we learn how it is being used. Where a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect.
